Hurley Burley

Founded in 2009, Hurley Burley sell luxury jewellery and accessories to the UK and beyond, through their eCommerce website.

With an existing Google Shopping campaign that was barely breaking even, they challenged our eCommerce team to turn it into a profitable avenue for their business.

The challenge

The previous Shopping campaign lacked a clear focus, it wasn’t targeting the right products and was wasting precious ad budget.

The first challenge was to get their campaign to break even, and from there, kick on to become a fully-optimised, money-making machine for Hurley Burley.

Our strategy

After discussion with Hurley Burley and finding out which products were their best-sellers, our eCommerce experts began to separate these products into their own specific Shopping campaigns.

This enabled the team to be super-targeted with their use of ad budget and bidding, ensuring that every penny was being maximised to bring the best returns possible.

Furthermore, the team also implemented Performance Max campaigns for some of the lower-performing products, in order to boost sales in these areas.

Once the campaigns started to become profitable, moving forward, the goal was then to scale up the ad spend, pushing for further growth, without lowering the profitability of the campaigns.

The results

In the first 4 weeks of running the campaigns, the team had delivered incredible results for Hurley Burley!

– Increased revenue from £911.90 up to £15,041.43 (up by 1,549%).

– Increased their return on ad spend from 132% up to 1,677%.

– Reduced their cost per sale from £18.15 down to £2.

From the start of the trial, to now, the overall return on ad spend is 1,517%, there has been an 88% reduction in cost per acquisition and an overall conversion rate of 5.2%.
