Baby Boutique see a BOOM in revenue through shopping campaigns with Add People
Article by: Jack Bird • 23 March 2021
Baby Boutique sell a range of baby products, such as luxury prams, car seats, clothing etc. through two physical stores and their own eCommerce website. In April 2020, they were keen to significantly improve the performance of their shopping campaigns and decided to team up with Add People. The rest is history…
THE CHALLENGE
At the time of coming on board with Add People, Baby Boutique were not utilising the potential of their paid advertising campaigns. As a result, revenue from website sales was not at the level they desired. With a vision of expanding, Baby Boutique tasked Add People to run their paid ads and get the website operating as a ‘third store’.
THE APPROACH
The eCommerce experts at Add People began by segmenting the top-performing products into their own shopping campaigns. This would enable them to bid more competitively, in order to drive more relevant traffic to the site – which were more likely to convert into sales. Poorer-performing products were allowed to run with their own budget, which also enabled more competitive bidding. As this strategy proved successful, the main focus was then to increase ad spend even more.
THE RESULTS
In January 2020, Baby Boutique made £151.27 from paid ads. This January 2021, with Add People at the helm, they brought in over £16,000 through paid advertising. This translates into a monumental, 11,015% increase in year-on-year revenue.
THE FIGURES
11,015% year-on-year increase in revenue
27,757% year-on-year increase in conversions
£16,000+ revenue in one month from paid ads
